This open-air museum gives a wiew of a major farm, as it looked in northern Dalsland during the early 19 th century. You will find all the buildings belonging to the farm itself, but also some of those common to the village.
Gammelgården was founded in 1929 by Bengtsforstraktens Forminnes- och Hembygdsförening, a society that still manages the museum.
